well, hubby got to use his for other things as well (the pants went well with his orchestra uniform--which was also a black suit/tux like...so he had an extra set of pants for that).
yeah, brown shoes + black suit = bad idea (but not if you watch 'what not to wear' they probably think its the best thing since ....well, we will just leave it alone).
yeah, Malice...you seem to turn up at the strangest times....what gives?

If you wear it 3 or more times a year it probably makes a lot more sense just to buy one. I don't plan on wearing a tux unless I am in a wedding. Thus for me, nope. But hey, wear it a lot, buy one.
Don't watch that show. Shocking I'm sure.
Malice won't tell us until the next time he returns. In a few months.

lol
yeah I used to watch the show until they told us they hate t-shirts and dont know why people even buy them, they LIKE wearing garish colors together (I am sorry, but if you are wearing a blue dress ..orange shoes do NOT match!!) they put people who are overweight into tight fitting coats such that the buttons barely button and look as if they will pop at any minute and then tell the person it looks great (uhm, it looks like its 4 sizes too small and makes them look 50lbs heavier, really)...so I stopped watching it (hubby still wants to know when the 'sloppy' look came back--the wear a sweater over a un-tucked in shirt), only pass it by to see what really NOT to wear (that would be what the hosts suggest!!).
yeah hubby got some use out of his tux so it wasnt a total waste (and I guess Malice never heard of 'black tie' events? since those require a black suit as well--hubby has been to a few of those as well)....
and yeah, guess it will be ...spring thaw? when we get the answers to these and other not so pressing questions

work? people wear tshirts and jeans now to most jobs (hubby wears polos and khakis/nice pants)....suits are just for big wigs
yeah the uk doesnt see much snow...and when it gets below freezing you 'chaps' just cant handle it, where as americans (candians and us citizens) tend to remember snow, but alas, cant remember HOW to drive in it!! (duh we have it most of 3-6 months here...twits).
we are on life support, but there is no relatives around to pull our plug so we just keep on keeping on.
actually got a bit warmer in the last day...we hit 20 (overnight it was below zero, but hey gotta look at the bright side and not the freezing side). And I had a nice massage today, helped with my couch-neck (hubby's cold has subsided so sleep can return to 'normal').

lol pwnd, you'rea teacher! the dress code is always different at school!!! (banks dont count either) Of the places I worked at most had an extremely relaxed dress code--eg, no rips or tears in clothing, nothing offensive, must be clean...etc. I cant even remember the last time I was told what to wear at work except what I just posted. (though to be honest--I dont even own a pair of jeans, havent really had one in...more than a decade though I do like to wear tshirts).
and yeah, still pretty bleeeeeepin' cold here too...april cant come soon enough for me getting out of bed is almost painful (especially since our bedroom seems to be about 16° cool-, heck colder, than the rest of the condo--and the thermostat is only set at 73!..that makes it a pretty dang 'balmy' 57°!!! )...not to mention our humidifier hasnt worked since the beginning of last winter
at least no doors have fallen off in the last few days

The school I student taught at was super relaxed. Wear whatever you wanted. Teachers showed up in t-shirts and sweatpants every day. Was super crazy. I don't mind wearing slacks and a button up shirt but I sure do miss my jean days on Friday...
Very cold. Do not particularly like at the moment to say the least.
Hey hey my new monitor showed up. 23" HP ISP monitor. Pretty slick.

Ya it was okay I guess. They were definitely comfortable but I felt like it was just way to relaxed. I always dressed nice. Wanted to dress for the job I wanted.
Cars do not seem to like the cold at all. Can't blame them really...

wish I had a 2 car garage....am still working on a way to put one car on top of the other so I can put both in my tiny one car garage
yeah, I hear ya on the computer...hubby's gaming rig (was 10 years old) gasped its last about 6 months ago...we were going to rebuild it (keep the case and the peripheries...)but then a lot of other high ticket things happened...and here we are 6 months later finally getting around to buying the parts for it (hubby had it all spec'ed out so he just had to make sure everything was still available and such)...soooooo it might finally get built ...soon

You should put a lift in the garage. Then you can store one car about the other! Could be awesome. Could also be bad but ya know...
I'm hoping to get mine built in March. Before my birthday would be nice but we will see. Might be after. Since you have built computers before, do I need a sound card for the computer or can I get speakers for it without a sound card? Sound card just boost the sound?

it depends on what is on your motherboard as to your needing a sound card or not (onboard stuff), though I dont think our computers have sound cards--graphics cards yes, but I think you can just plug and play sound. (yes speakers are needed).
just checked and hubby says most mobos come with onboard sound so you should be fine with just speakers and no sound card (unless you are going into sound mixing type stuff--).
brats for dinner woot!

Ok cool. The motherboard that I found suggested is apparently discontinued. Of course the article was written in 2011. Oops. Guess I'm back to square one on trying to figure out the best components to put in it for under $1000.

lol The rate that technology moves these days is ridiculous. Even if I were to build the best computer possible in around 6 months it is obsolete due to the new and better stuff being out! Oh well. I found a pretty good build I think last night. Just have to wait around to get the parts eventually.

yeah...its amazing how a few months makes electronics out of date. We have been looking at newer items for his computer...and its amazing how they have changed in just a few months! (and the prices too )
so who asked for the freezing rain????

Ya definitely crazy. Easier to buy something that is still pretty good but slightly older then it is to buy the newest thing. Gonna have to show the build I'm thinking of to my buddy at work to make sure he things it will be good.
Ya we are supposed to be getting some freezing rain/wintery mix right now. It is currently MIA where I am at. Which is fine by me.
